I’m Ellie, A Postnatal Doula and Family Coach, offering support to individuals and their families through the journey of parenthood. With a special interest in mental health, I offer a blend of emotional support, and practical guidance to help you navigate the early days with your baby.

Becoming a doula was a natural step for me after experiencing firsthand the importance of support during my own postpartum journey. As I helped friends and family through their own transitions into parenthood, I realized how crucial it is to have someone there who understands and holds space in this special but vulnerable time

I have over a decade of experience working with families in our local community. As your postnatal doula I can offer a listening ear for any worries or difficult feelings you may be experiencing. I can help you get to grips with caring for your baby so you can feel confident and secure in the beginning of your journey. I don’t believe there is “one way” of raising a baby and will work with your aims and hopes, while drawing on my own knowledge and experience to find a way that works for you and your unique family unit. I believe you are the expert in your own child and will provide evidence based signposting and suggestions to help you overcome any challenges you experience. I offer practical help in your home, whether this be meal preparation, a spot of light housework, or holding your baby while you nap or shower, so you can get the rest and nourishment you deserve.

I work with families as a coach to try and untangle the knots of birth preparation and parenthood. Navigating the uncertainty of these big life events can be overwhelming with the wealth of information available. My goal is to help you find clarity in what you want and work with you and your partner (if you have one) so you can make truly informed choices and feel in control.

For those finding they are left with difficult feelings after a birth, pregnancy or postnatal experience, I offer trauma resolution using a technique called The Three Step Rewind. This gentle and effective process has helped hundreds of people transform the way they feel about tricky events. Using NLP and visualisation I help you ‘lift’ difficult emotions attached to your memories and help you move forwards with a sense of relief and ease.The families I work with come from a range of backgrounds and cultures. I embrace all family set ups, religions, genders, sexualities and neurotypes.
