🤰 Birth Doula Services:
I am based in St Ives and cover the Cambs, Beds, and Peterborough areas. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience and am committed to ensuring your birth is a positive and empowering experience.

My Doula career started after the birth of my first child in 1999 when I felt like a rabbit caught in headlights when navigating pregnancy and birth. I struggled with Postnatal depression and found very little support available. With my second baby in 2002, I went to a local mum and baby group and met a woman who was training to be a doula and I was hooked from that moment on. Being able to support families through this time in their lives helping create a unique birth plan or providing emotional and practical support during the 3rd trimester, labour, birth, and the first few precious hours after birth, and being an advocate for a smooth and memorable birthing process, is a rewarding career.

However and wherever you are planning on welcoming your baby to the world, we can work together to make sure all your questions are answered, and you feel prepared for the birth you would like.

👶 Postnatal Doula Services:
The postnatal period is a time of adjustment and new beginnings which is why many cultures believe in nurturing the mother while transitioning into parenthood with confidence and ease. We would make a tailor-made package for you and your family which may include:
Welcoming baby home.
Feeding baby.
Recovery from birth.
Relaxation techniques and practical tips to protect your mental health.
Listening to your birth stories.
Getting out and about for the first time, a trip to the café or shops perhaps?
Light housework such as laundry, washing up, and preparing meals.
Overnight support.
Support with newborn baby care.
